What We Believe
We believe that the true God is the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – three Persons, yet one God.
We believe that since the Fall into sin (Genesis 3) all people are born sinful and under God’s just wrath (Romans 3:23).
We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, is God’s promised Savior and the only Redeemer this world will ever know (Acts 4:12). We believe that Jesus suffered and died for our sins and physically rose from the dead on the third day (Romans 4:25).
We believe that we are saved through faith in Jesus without any merit on our part (John 3:16 & Ephesians 2:7,8).
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, living Word of the living God.
God the Holy Spirit through verbal inspiration caused the Bible writers to write the very thoughts and words He wanted them to. All of our teachings are based on the Bible. We believe that the Lutheran Confessions, as found in the Book of Concord (1580) are a faithful summary of the Bible’s teachings.
